Joel Obi joined Torino from Inter Milan in the first
week of July but has struggled to remain fit since his
arrival, with the attacking midfielder undergoing
individual training few weeks after completing the
switch
It was thought that his ailment was a thing of the past
after featuring for 22 minutes in Torino’s 4 – 1 win
over Pescara in the Italian Cup last weekend, until
this latest setback. The 24 – year – old’s last
international appearance for the Super Eagles was
against Scotland in a pre – World Cup friendly in May
2014.
