Dad is having an affair with my aunt

Dad’s always had the reputation of being a Jack, the
lad and has had open affairs the family knew about.
Now I have this conviction he is having an affair with
my aunt. I’m a guy of 32 and my parents have been
married for over 35 years. I thought his philandering
days were over but recently, I helped him get on-line
and now he seems to be constantly checking his e-
mails.
He’s also started going out more, saying he is
pursuing his hobby of playing golf. One day, I
followed him and saw his car parked outside my
aunt’s – my mum’s sister – for three hours. My gut
instinct told me something is going-on. I had suffered
in silence all these years, the thought of her sister
sleeping

I was in a cage for 16 years, says Jonatha

 President Goodluck Jonathan,
Sunday, reviewed his sojourn in government and
declared that he has been in a cage for 16 years.
President Jonathan who bared his mind when the
Christian community in Abuja paid him the
traditional Easter homage said he has had enough
and expressed gratitude to Nigerians for giving him
the opportunity to serve.
PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN
While describing himself as one of the luckiest
Nigerians today, President Jonathan said Nigerians
had given him opportunity to serve the country in
the last 16 years at different levels of leadership
noting that he remained grateful to God and the
people of the country for providing him with such
privilege.
His words: “this Easter period coincides with when I’m
leaving but I always say I’m one of the luckiest
Nigerians. From 1999 I have been in the hands of
government. I am yet to see somebody luckier than
me.
“I was in the hands of governments for 16 years, not
in government as a parliamentarian, because if you
are in the National Assembly or state House of
Assembly, you take care of yourself in your house. I
was in a cage being taken care of by the government.
But I think it is enough and I am happy, help me
thank God for that”.

7 pen*s types and corresponding best $ex positions for maximum pleasure [Must Read]

.Just as the sizes of women’s BR*ASTS are
different, the size and shape of the male organ is
different too.
Some pen*ses look cute at sight while some look
really weird and ugly.
Also, while some pen*ses are smooth, others are
curved, some are straight and others are as veiny
as a fitness buff’s muscles..
In this article we’ll discuss the 7 most popular
shapes and how to best use it to please your
woman:
1. The Banana pen*s. This one looks like
your regular banana, bent downward when
erect. It is the most common. To use this
shape, the best position is the missionary
position. It’s natural bend will make it rub
against the clitoris as you thrust, giving her
maximum pleasure.
2. The Carrot pen*s. This one has a small
head and a bigger shaft, just the way your
average carrot looks. From the base, it is
thick, getting thinner towards the top. Use
this for maximum pleasure in the deep
penetration styles like doggy and
missionary. Cowgirl ride and other face-to-
face positions won’t be a bad idea.
3. The Veiny pen*s. This is a rough-rod kind
of pen*s with a lot of thick veins that fill up
when erect. The good thing about this type
is that the bumpy terrain of the pen*s
roughs against the inner walls of the vagina
during thrusting. You can enjoy this type in
any $ex position. A tight vagina will feel the
effect more.
4. The Pencil pen*s. Like a pencil, this one is
straight and slim…long too with no
different between the shaft and the head.
Don’t try man-dominated positions with
this type. It’s best for the woman to take
charge with positions like the cowgirl so
that she can control depth and speed. With
doggy, you can damage her internally
unless you control the thrusting depth well.
Best you go for Moon Rising and Locked
Horns.
5. The Hammer/Mushroom/Umbrella
pen*s. Just like an umbrella, a hammer
and an umbrella, pen*ses in this category
have slim shafts that suddenly become
huge at the head, as if the pen*s is wearing
a cape. Shallow penetrations will bring out
the best in this kind of pen*s. Don’t go too
deep and too fast, unless you’re dealing
with a very wide woman. Also thrust slowly
to touch every corner of the vagina linings
and light up her G-spot.
6. The ‘C’ pen*s. Like its name, it’s shaped
like the letter C, bending to the right when
erect. If the curve is extreme, it could be
as a result of the Peyronie’s disease or
accidents (see doctor!). To use this, try the
spooning position.
7. The ‘Fatty’ pen*s. This pen*s seems like
an obese dwarf. It’s short and very thick/
wide. It may not go deep enough to make
doggy interesting and ma will fill every
nook and cranny of the vagina. Try Rolling
Lake and Serpents Desire.
So what shape is yours, or your boyfriend’s?

How To Satisfy Your Woman Séxually [Must Read]

.Séxual satisfaction is relative. What
one woman likes might not be what
another woman wants. Although there are a few
basic things you should know about a woman’s
desire and how to keep her happy.
1. Listen to her: And not just her words, but
her body too. Communication is key when it
comes to having a pleasurable séxual experience.
Don’t be shy to actually talk about what you like
and ask her what she enjoys. Also, a woman has a
way of letting her man know what she likes by the
way she moves, the sounds she make and her
overall demeanor. Don’t be so focused in your
own pleasure that you don’t take the time to
focus on her.
2. She needs to be distracted – and in a good
way: During séx, men focus on the oncoming
climax Women’s minds wander, often into
fantasy. To reach orgásm, she needs to clear her
head and turn off her brain’s fear center. “Fantasy
is a way for her to disconnect her mind, and
it becomes an important part of deactivating her
fear center. Encourage her release by
constructing an érotic fantasy before things heat
up. Then, Quilliam says, you can whisper
provocative sentences to each other in turn,
building a story she can get lost in.
3. Let her take control: Men naturally want to
take charge, but often times, you might not know
what she likes until you give her the chance to
take control. Let her control the pace and
intensity, so that you can get a feel of what is best
for her. Encourage her to be on top: It allows her
to take advantageof a full range of positions-
facing you, facing away, even sitting cross-legged
on you.
4. Spot the érotic spots: Her clítoris, vaginá, and
uréthra are interconnected, and researchers
believe that stimulating any one of them may
contribute to overall arousál. Experts suggest
branching out and teasing what some call the U-
spot-an area between her clitoris and vaginá,
located near the entrance to her urethrá. Use
soft, circular motions with your finger. Uráthral
nerves are very sensitive, so stimulation here
creates a particular kind of árousal-a soft, melting
form of climáx. Make sure your hands are clean,
though-the area is infection-prone.
5. Slow down: Pulling back when she’s near
clímax and then resuming can enhance her
orgásm. Suspense raises the psychological arousal
level. Ask her to tell you when she’s near the top,
and then pull back for a few minutes to kíss and
concentrate on other parts of her body. Repeat
several times-build up, back off-until you take
her over the edge. Don’t fear ruining a moment.
It takes 5 to 10 minutes for arousál to really
subside, so even if she thinks she’s “lost it,” you’re
probably equipped to bring her back.
Good luck.

.Most guys think it takes a lot of work to woo a
lady and many relationship sites do not help
matters by making guys believe it’s rocket
science. But this belief isn’t true and most times
you really don’t need the big things…it’s simply
the little things you do for her that matters.
Relationship site, YourTango asked several
women what a guy can do to make them date him
and their responses were quite surprising.
Amanda Chatel of YourTango lists those six
simple but really important steps to win over that
girl you like.
1. Care. A lot. And Show It: If you want to win a
woman over, especially if it’s early in the game,
you need to show that you care, deeply, about
her health and welfare. “Before my husband and
I started dating, when we were just, well,
sleeping together, I somehow ended up telling
him that I had to go to the doctor to have a
biopsy done on my cervix because they were
concerned I had terrible lady-cancer. He got off
the night shift, stayed up until I had to go to the
hospital, and then drove me to his place where
he set me up on his couch with his pajamas, his
bathrobe, a bowl of my favorite cereal, and Lord
of the Rings extended editions. Then he went to
work, and brought me ice cream when he came
home. He stayed awake for 36 hours to make
sure I was okay and had everything I needed, and
completely pampered me while I recovered.
Before we were dating,” says Colleen, 29. “When I
was out once with a guy I was seeing named Mike,
a random man was bothering my friend Lindsey.
Mike stepped in and said “Excuse me sir, she
doesn’t want you touching her or bothering her so
please leave her alone.” I thought it was cute that
he stood up for not me, but my friend. Also this
guy was a lot bigger than Mike — and very
drunk,” says MS, 26. “We were dating, I fell off a
set of stairs and broke my leg. We weren’t
anything official yet he took time off work to
come and take care of me. What guy does that?
He won me over, realized he was a keeper,” says

Girls Wish To Try This In Bed, But Always Keep In Secret [Must Read]

 1.Openness
Every woman wants to reveal her partner her
deepest n*ughty fantasies, but not every woman
can entrust her secret dreams. That’s why a man
must be totally open in bed. The more open a
guy is about his intimate desires, the more open
a woman will be with hers.
2. Listening
To be heard is one of those things women always
want to get from guys, even under the sheets. We
know exactly what we love doing in bed. Guys
should just listen to us and respond to our
guidance on how to satisfy us best. Of course,
their efforts will be rewarded.
3. Pa$$ion
There is no doubt women dream about all sorts
of romance, candles, flowers, gentle words etc.
But men should not forget about pa$$ion as well,
raw pa$$ion. Sometimes the best way to satisfy a
woman is to just take her, kiss her hard, and
make no apologies for how desperately he needs
all of you.
4. Aggressiveness
We, women, are quite enthusiastic about
aggressive $ex, aren’t we? Even a little roughing
under the sheets can do wonders for our $exual
life. We do not want our men to be aggressive on
every occasion, but sometimes guys must
definitely turn into real aggressors and feel free
to venture into this darker world of intimate
desires.
5.Focus on entire body
Unfortunately men often make this mistake. They
pay attention to a few places on a woman’s body
when trying to bring her pleasure. But we don’t
actually want our partner to focus only on these
“obvious” intimate spots. We want guys to pay
attention to our entire body rather than the sum
of its parts.
6.Longer or*l $ex
It’s just incredible how many men don’t give their
women or*l $ex that often, or even don’t do it at
all. They actually think it’s OK. But it’s definitely
not! Guys expect or*l $ex for themselves, but do
not always return the sentiment to girls. It’s a
huge mistake. Agree, girls? We want men to
experiment a little bit down there and figure out
what we like best.
7. Domination
We, women, want it all, to dominate and to be
dominated. We want men to take charge in bed
as well as we want to take charge by ourselves.
Sometimes to control everything what’s going on
between the sheets brings us real pleasure, “the
cowgirl” position works the best in this case. The
must-remember tip here is to switch these roles
from time to time.
8. Dirty talk
Women love dirty talk, but men often miss giving
it to us. Every girl secretly wants her partner
to engage her n*ughty side and tell
her exactly what he is thinking about, not just
flowery sweet nothing. Our halves must tell us
about their dirtiest $exual desires and then fulfill
them in the bedroom!
So, these are the main things women want their
men to do in the bedroom. Don’t be upset if your
partner doesn’t do all of them. Just talk to him,
and don’t be afraid to reveal your deepest and
darkest desires. Find out his secret fantasies too.
Understanding and trusting each other is the best
way to spice up your $exual life.

15 Signs You’re Having $ex With the Wrong Person

.1. You fantasize about everyone but the
person you’re with.
Fantasizing about and being attracted to other
people is completely normal, but at least some of
those fantasies should involve your other half.
2. You’re not attracted to them.
Need I say more? To connect $exually, you need
to feel attraction toward your partner, whether
it’s on a physical, emotional, or intellectual level.
3. They make you feel bad about your body.
If your partner is behaving in a way that makes
you feel self-conscious, the $ex won’t be half as
good as when you’re with someone who makes
you feel as beautiful as you are.
4. Awkward $ex noises make you wish the
ground would swallow you whole.
Those noises happen and $ex should be fun. Be
with someone who can laugh them off with you.
5. The thought of telling them what you like
(and don’t like) is mortifying…
You’re terrified that they’ll laugh at you or not
care about your needs.
6. …Which means you spend all of foreplay
wishing it could just be over.
Not everyone likes neck-kissing, OK?
7. The $ex is all about them.
Every. Single. Time. A good partner will be just as
willing to please you as you are to please them.
8. You get up an hour before them to apply a
full face of makeup before they wake up.
If they’re not down with your barefaced
beauty, show ’em the door.
9. You’re in a friends-with-benefits situation,
and one of you wants more.
If you’re both willing to keep things casual, then
keep doing what you’re doing. But if one of you
has feelings and the other one doesn’t, it’s a
recipe for disaster.
10. You feel awkward or unhappy afterward.
Euphoric, satisfied, and a little tingly? Great. Sad,
uncomfortable, or awkward? Not so great.
11. Your partner is a douchebag.
This should be a no-brainer. No matter how good
the $ex is, if they treat you badly, it’s just not
worth it. There are plenty of people who are
good in bed and don’t behave like total
douchebags.
12. They refuse to wear a condom when you
ask them to.
See no. 11, above. They definitely fit that criteria.
13. You flinch when they touch you.
Now, sometimes there’s an explanation — you’re
ticklish or have a hands-off zone, perhaps? But if
you’re flinching whenever they touch you, your
body might be trying to tell you something.
14. Your partner doesn’t respect you.
Whether you’re in a relationship or it’s a casual,
friends-with-benefits fling, mutual respect and
trust are musts between you and the person
you’re sleeping with.
15. The $ex is and always has been boring.
“Boring” might be the least $exy adjective, ever.

Post UTME: We don’t want to be unfair to candidates – OAU

.…As 27, 000 writes exam
Ile-Ife (Osun) – Over 27,000 applicants seeking
admission to Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-
Ife, on Saturday wrote the post-Unified Tertiary
Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The Public Relations Officer of OAU, Mr Abiodun
Olanrewaju, who spoke in Ile-Ife on Saturday, said
the candidates include secondary school leavers and
direct entry students.
Olanrewaju said that the students that qualified for
OAU post-UTME were the ones who scored 200 and
above in JAMB exams and took OAU as their first
choice.
He said that many candidates with distinctions from
their various schools applied for the admission and in
order to be fair to all, screening exercise should be
carried out.
“We have so many candidates that applied for direct
entry admission and just to fulfill exam
righteousness, they need to be screened.
“We don’t want to be unfair to any and for us to be
justified; admission screening would allow us to have
the real competent ones,” he said.
One of the candidates, Aanu-Oluwapo Adeyemi, who
applied for Law, told NAN that she would love to be
admitted in OAU for her studies.
Adeyemi said that she believed that the school would
mould her and give her excellent academic
expectations.
Mrs Lynda Echebima, a parent from Port-Harcourt,
who brought her daughter for post-UTME, expressed
satisfaction on the conduct of the exam, stressing
that it was well organised.
“From what I’ve seen so far, it is not so far from the
impression I have about OAU, I hope that the
students will get their deserved marks,” she said.
In the same vein, Mr Olusegun Adetayo, another
parent from Lagos State told NAN that he liked the
conduct of the exam because the management made
students to realise that they meant business.
Adetayo urged the management to maintain the
discipline, expressing the belief that the marking
would commence immediately and within 24 hours
or less the results would be out. (NAN)

‘Couples should have sex as often as possible’

.Big, bold and beautiful aptly describes Bimbo
Thomas, the famed ‘Nikky’ in the popular Yoruba
blockbuster film ‘Omo Ghetto’ produced by Funke
Akindele. She is remembered in the film as a street
urchin who would stop at nothing in getting what she
wants. But in real life, Bimbo is nothing like ‘Nikky’
the character she portrayed so well. She is an easy-
going person who would bedazzle you with her smiles
and courteous manners.
The voluptuous beauty spoke with one of our
reporters recently and she let us into her world, a
world no one has ever travelled. She talked sex, life
and relationships. Courteous as she is, the Chief
Executive Officer of Bimbally Wine Store is as direct
and down-to-earth as any frank person could get.
“I’ve always had guys crushing on me, but I never
dated any of them. However I had my first kiss in
secondary school few weeks to my final exams. As for
my first relationship, it was with a guy called Kumi
and we had been friends for a long time before that”
she says while narrating her love story
She explains she doesn’t jump into relationships even
when all the signs are there. She wouldn’t even allow
a guy to peck her unless they have been together for
a while. “I’ll act as if I can’t read between the lines. I
won’t even peck an ordinary friend; it’s that bad”.
She may be slow in getting in the mood but once she
does, it appears she loves going straight into the
groove as she posits when asked how often couples
should have sex.”As often as possible. Maybe four
times in a week. If time permits, and we’re not far
apart.

Gunmen kill 2, abduct pregnant woman, burn houses in Taraba

Gunmen on Friday attacked Kashimbilla community
in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba, killing
two persons and kidnapping two women, including a
pregnant lady.
A member of the Taraba House of Assembly, Mr
Mark Useni, who represents Takum II Constituency,
confirmed the attack to newsmen in Jalingo.
Useni said two women, including a pregnant lady,
were taken hostage by the attackers.
He said efforts to trace the whereabouts of those
taken hostage did not yield any result.
The Public Relations Officer of the Taraba Police
Command, Mr Joseph Kwaji, who also confirmed the
incident, however, said only one person was killed.
Kwali, who is an assistant superintendent of police,
said many houses were burnt, alleging that
the gunmen were from Benue.
He also said that the gunmen attacked
the Jukun, Tiv and Fulani residents in the area.
The spokesman assured the residents of the area that
the command was on top of the situation. (NAN)

The event that turned my life around – 2face Idibia

In a recent interview, highly revered Nigerian music
star, 2face Idibia, revealed the reason artistes fail
and also highlighted an event that turned his life
around. In an industry where an artiste’s success is
not usually sustained, the African Queen sensation
said artistes should never assume they have arrived.
“I think it’s the I don arrive syndrome that affects
artistes who fall along the way. That thing is a major
factor. Most times if you check it, it is that syndrome
of I have arrived and we have to keep doing it this
way, forgetting that you have to keep working on
yourself.”
When asked what he doesn’t like about being a star,
he had this to say: “ I don’t like the fact that when you
enter the public space, you have lost your privacy”.
Recalling the event that changed his life, he said it
will be the first time he met a man called Edi Lawani.
“I think one of those events will be the first time I
met a man like Edi Lawani. We were nobodies then.
He just welcomed us like : Guys, how far na, na dis
kind thing una dey do? And from there he started
recommending us to different people.”

Man United to face Club Brugge in Champions League play-offs

Manchester United were given a kind draw in the
Champions League play-offs as they were paired with
Belgians Club Brugge on Friday.
The three-time former winners, making their return
to Europe’s premier club competition after a one-
year hiatus, will play the first leg at their Old Trafford
home.
“We’re absolutely delighted to be back in the
competition. We’re back where we want to be,” said
United club secretary John Alexander.
“Belgian football is right at the very top and we have
two Belgian players in the squad who keep us abreast
of what’s going on there.
“We go into any game with confidence. We’d like to
think we can win the competition.”
In other pairings in the League Route, Spaniards
Valencia, finalists in 2000 and 2001, drew 2004
finalists Monaco of France while the clash of the
round sees Italians Lazio up against Germany’s Bayer
Leverkusen, beaten finalists in 2002.
“Ahead of the draw we were fully aware that we were
going to face a very good side in the play-offs,” said
Lazio coach Stefano Poli.
“We need to prepare in the best possible way for this
tie in order to be competitive.”
Leverkusen CEO Michael Schade was also glum over
the draw.
“I think we got the toughest draw possible but
obviously we want to be in the group stage,” he said.
“We are very confident that our coach’s pressing style
will see us do well in the competition.”
United failed to qualify for European competition last
season having finished seventh in the English
Premier League in 2014.
But Louis Van Gaal led them to fourth in the table
last season, giving them the chance to earn a place
back in the group stage of the Champions League, a
competition they last won in 2008 during a run of
three finals in four seasons (the last being a defeat to
Barcelona in 2011).
Club Brugge are the only ever Belgian side to reach
the European Cup or Champions League final, losing
1-0 to United’s bitter domestic rivals Liverpool in
1978.
United forward Adnan Januzaj and midfielder
Marouane Feilaini are both Belgium internationals.
In the other League Route pairings, Sporting Lisbon
will have the chance to gain revenge on CSKA
Moscow, who beat them in the 2005 UEFA Cup at the
Portuguese outfit’s own Lisbon home ground.
The final pairing sees Austria’s Rapid Vienna —
conquerors of Ajax in the third qualifying round —
take on Ukraine’s Shakhtar Donetsk while the pick of
the Champions Route games saw 1967 winners Celtic
drawn against 1979 finalists Malmo.
Draw:
Astana (KAZ) v APOEL (CYP)
Skenderbeu (ALB) v Dinamo Zagreb (CRO)
Celtic (SCO) v Malmo (SWE)
Basel (SUI) v Maccabi Tel-Aviv (ISR)
BATE (BLR) v Partizan Belgrade (SRB)
Lazio (ITA) v Bayer Leverkusen (GER)
Manchester United (ENG) v Club Brugge (BEL)
Sporting Lisbon (POR) v CSKA Moscow (RUS)
Rapid Vienna (AUT) v Shakhtar Donetsk (UKR)
Valencia (ESP) v Monaco (FRA)

I don’t do things normal way – Maka

Ife crooner Nwamaka Sam Ejehu, a.k.a Maka, is not
your conventional artiste. From her signature haircut
to her Afrocentric sound, Maka is one rising singer
you should watch out for.
In recent
times, Maka’s
sound and
delivery has
been
compared to
that of Asa and
Bez, she
however
doesn’t want to
be seen in that
light. Hear her:
“I should point
out that I am
very flattered
to be
compared to
Asa and Bez,
however, I
can’t really say
I sound like
them.
All I do is create the music that comes from within
me, being myself and letting the music flow.” Maka
tells Showtime that originality is key if an artiste
must become great. “Originality is key.
The ability to stay true to yourself while syncing with
the flow of change that comes with the times and
despite learning from greats, will set you apart from
the crowd,” she says.
Speaking on the reason behind her unique haircut,
she says she has never been one to do things the
normal way. “I always wanted to cut my hair. As for
the style, well, I have never been one to do things
the normal way. I just had to give my low cut look a
little bit of edge that is why it is in a punk style,”she
reveals.

Boko Haram suicide bombers spread fear in Cameroon

Empty streets, body searches and tips to police
embody the fear that Boko Haram has instilled in
northern Cameroon, where they killed more than 40
people in suicide bombings in July.
Raiders from the Nigerian sect later kidnapped 135
villagers and killed eight others in a pre-dawn strike
across the border last Tuesday, police and local
sources said.
Boko Haram has attacked villages in Cameroon’s
Extreme North region for about two years, but the
horrific bombings mark a change of tactics, while
Cameroonian troops have joined a regional force to
tackle the Islamists.
The suicide bombers can be young women and even
teenage girls, who behave like locals and blend in at
crowded places to cause maximum casualties.
Residents of Maroua, the main town in the Extreme
North, were spared until successive blasts tore
though the bustling central market and a bar on July
22 and 25. Those bombs killed 33 people and
wounded dozens more.
“We’re very worried and no longer know where to
turn,” says Albert, a worried father.
“Should we send the children to school when the next
school year starts?” he ponders. “Boko Haram is
against Western education and may very well carry
out attacks on schools.”
The sect’s name loosely translates as “Western
education is forbidden”, and Boko Haram notoriously
abducted 276 Nigerian schoolgirls in April last year.
Some managed to escape but more than 200 are
believed to be held in the large Sambisa forest,
where the Nigerian army this week said it had freed
178 captives.
– ‘People like you and me’ –
Boko Haram has frequently massacred students in
northeastern Nigeria during an insurgency with the
aim of establishing an Islamic caliphate, at a cost of at
least 15,000 lives since 2009.
“When you see somebody who isn’t familiar in the
neighbourhood, you call the police,” says Oumarou,
who works for a Maroua logistics firm.
He has sent his family away to Douala, Cameroon’s
economic capital on the Atlantic, more than 1,300
kilometres (810 miles) away.
Information Minister Issa Tchiroma Bakary has
meanwhile heaped praise on an astute taxi-
motorcycle driver who turned in a 15-year-old boy
carrying explosives last week.
The driver found the teen was behaving suspiciously
and decided to drive him to a police station, where
he was detained. Two other suspects were picked up.
“Their objective was to blow up inside a mosque,”
Bakary said.
Security has been tightened repeatedly in Maroua.
When the market closes at 5:00 pm, “everybody goes
home. There is nobody left on the streets apart from
the soldiers,” Oumarou says.
Sources in the security forces believe that Boko
Haram infiltrators and sympathisers have operated in
Maroua for months, relaying information to their
chiefs.
“They are people like you and me,” a Cameroonian
army officer says. “It’s almost impossible to identify
them.”
Bus terminals catering for southern destinations,
notably big cities like Douala and the capital Yaounde,
are closely watched. Passengers are always frisked as
they board their coaches.
“You feel the threat most because of all the
checkpoints on the roads,” says Olivier, a young
French expatriate in Douala.
“The police have tightened up their searches. They
make us empty our cars completely, and our bags.”
– ‘We no longer know who’s who’ –
In Yaounde, police and troops are omnipresent.
“People have been very ill at ease since there were
suicide attacks” in the north, trader Abdoulaye Sani
says.
“We no longer know who’s who. I’m afraid when I’m

Nigeria needs trillions of naira to have steady power – Prof.Onuoha

The Associate Head of the Niger Delta Power Holding
Company, Professor Igwe Onuoha said it will take the
nation trillions of naira in order to get the required
megawatts that will give every Nigerian
uninterrupted power supply.
He said that there is a very wide gap between “our
capacity at the moment and what Nigerians actually
need. There are distinctively specific things that
Nigerians need to put in place in other to increase
the generation but it is an expensive venture for a
nation of 160 million people”.
He said this at the event for Engineering students of
the University of Benin (UNIBEN), during a seminary
organized by SciEtech University Outreach.
According to him
“We are a country of over 160 million people;
our grid is testing to sustain 5000 megawatts.
5000 megawatts means that you have 5
million watts of energy in the grid.
“If we are a 100 million, it means that every
100 people in Nigeria will have only one lamp.
So if you have 5000 megawatts in the grid you
can only support 100 people having only one
lamp. If you want 100 people to have each a
lamp, you multiply 5000 by 100 it gives you
500, 000 megawatts.
“On the average, one million dollars will give
you one megawatt so if you want 100
megawatts you need 100 million dollars. The
exponential multiplication means that you
need far large amount of money to be able to
generate power to make sure that every
Nigerian has a lamp. We will be able to reach
that point when we are able to get all the
money to make that level of investment.
“But there are several sectors in our economy
begging for commitment, so if we are going to
close other sectors of the economy and
concentrate on power, it means that you are
going to have enough money to generate
enough power for 160 million people”he
stated.
