Popular guitarist cum singer, Majek Fashek who is
one of Nigeria’s finest music exports has publicly
admitted his addiction to alcohol and drugs. Majek
disclosed this during a press briefing in Abuja during
the week

The ‘Send Down The Rain’ crooner condemned
alcoholism and drug abuse habits among individuals
stating that alcohol and the use of drugs were not
beneficial to anyone’s health.
In his words, “people should stop the use of alcohol
and drugs because being drunk will end up destroying
your career and your plans for the future.”
According to Entertainment Rave, an online
magazine, Majek who earlier disclosed his fears of
visiting a rehabilitation home also said “coming to the
rehab is not a bad idea because I realised that I am
addicted to alcohol and it was beginning to affect my
output and what I enjoy doing and decided to seek
for help. I am not the first singer or person that will
go to the rehab, most renowned celebrities we know
today go to rehabilitation centres to cool their
memory.”
Also, reports have it that Majek and his team are
putting together a come-back tour for lovers of his
music as soon as he is clarified fit by medical doctors
in the rehab home
