Woman Allegedly r*ped By Four Men In Alapere, Lagos

 A 30-year-old woman has allegedly been r*ped
by four men in the Alapere area of Lagos State,
even as the police deny knowledge of any such
thing.
The perpetrators further threatened her not to
reveal details of the incident to anybody.
The victim, who was immediately transferred to
the hospital, was gang-r*ped by four men
suspected to be members of the Oodua Peoples
Congress.
The incident occurred just inside her makeshift
shop, at the Mile 12 market, Vanguard reports.
It has also been gathered that the victim,
following series of threats, isn’t disposed to speak
further on the attack and her perpetrators.
Efforts to reach the police have been abortive as
there has been outright denial from the
Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Alapere.
When Vanguard tried to reach her, Patricia
Amadim the DPO denied having knowledge of
any such attack on a woman in the market.
Further efforts by the Vanguard reporter to get
tangible details on the occurrence met brick walls
as one Sergeant Ibrahim Isiola, after being
persistently ringed on his mobile number,
dropped the call upon realization that he was
speaking with a reporter.
In a similar development, an 18-year-old girl
seeking admission into the University of Lagos
was r*ped by a lecturer, one Dr. Akin Baruwa,
who has now been denied by authorities of the
institution.
According to the statement from the institution,
Baruwa is neither an academic or a non-academic
