Nigeria internationals, John Mikel Obi and Vcitor
Moses, have been handed Chelsea squad numbers
ahead of the 2015/2016 season.
According to the club’s official website, the numbers
were released on Saturday with Mikel maintaining his
jersey No.12 while Moses gets No.20.
Also handed jersey numbers are Nigerian
youngsters, Dominic Solanke with number 35 and Ola
Aina with number 34.
A total of 27 players got squad numbers, an
indication that they will form the core of the senior
squad.
Meanwhile, among the major changes made by
Chelsea concerning jersey numbers, Juan Cuadrado
switches from number 23 to number 11 previously
worn by Didier Drogba.
Also, new signing, Asmir Begovic, has been handed
number one and Radamel Falcao the number nine.
